Description
because i am obsessed with HtTYD2 i made dresses based of the Dragons designs, from left to right:
Stormfly: she is so colorful i couldn't put every color on her, but i seriously love her design; She has the most details out of any one else precisely because of that.
Toothless: so much black... i literally added some red accessories (based on his prosthetic tail) so that it wouldn't look too somber; i also wanted it to be as easy to move around on as possible as he's main attribute is speed on when airborne.
Hookfang: i've always had a sense of respect and fear of fire, which id probably why the Monstrous Nightmare calls up my attention so much. It is my least favorite design here though so i'll see about revising it.
Cloud Jumper: guess who's my new favorite Dragon? i personally like them all to some degree but that honestly has less to do with design and more with how expressive these dragons manage to be*, i just love how He looks at the other dragons as if they were too immature for him, something that i think will be very helpful for Toothless as a Alpha since now he has a far more experienced dragon to help keep things in check.
*As far as the dragons being expressive, the way i see it the ones who have spend a considerable amount of time with humans tend to showcase emotions more freely, human communication is effective enough that just by a single mannerism we can express a complex idea (and even then we can still fail) and the best prove of dragons gaining this ability over time is how Toothless learns from Hiccup how to smile. These little details give each dragon so much personality without making them talk that it truly feels like a mastering of "show don't tell" which is the entire point of visual media.

HTTYD movies belong to Dreamworks (that is severe need of someone who knows how to better promote a film so that people don't think it'll be a silly adventure, i literally missed seeing the first one in theaters cause it didn't look interesting enough... what a waste)
